Our Ministries
Hope B.I.G. is a nonprofit organization founded with a genuine and compassionate commitment to address the tangible needs of marginalized and underprivileged individuals residing in remote areas of the Big Island, Hawaii, and other isolated Pacific Islands.

In collaboration with healthcare professionals, local ministries, churches, and like-minded non-profit organizations sharing a passion for those in need, our mission is to impart LOVE, JOY, and HOPE into the lives of the hopeless and isolated through free mobile healthcare and youth programs.

Our vision is centered on making a transformative impact and changing lives, one island at a time.
Where will we serve here on the Big Island?

Dental / Medical Ministry
(This will be our primary ministry)
Many children and youth on the Pacific Islands have been neglected without basic oral healthcare. Many of them haven't seen a dentist for years and some never in their lives. They live with decay and pain because of a lack of access to dental care and oral health education. We'd like to first start with a dental ministry to take care of people in need and then partner with medical professionals to add basic screening and healthcare. Our hope is to just simply love and bless the people in need with quality healthcare, asking nothing in return except for a big smile on their face.
Youth & Children's Ministry
Many of these youth and children live with their relatives other than their actual parents and their nearest high school is 45 minutes away, so many drop out of school. There are many drug, alcohol and teen pregnancy issues. We'd like to play sports & games with them, run a fun art and fitness program, do STEM experiments, and etc. We just want to love on them to show they matter and are cared for so that we bring hope and joy to their isolated and hopeless situation with very little opportunities. We just want to see their beautiful smiles and hear joyful laughters.
Tutoring / Mobile Library & Literacy Program
Education is critical for them to get out of poverty. If they aren't able to graduate from high school, they can't get decent jobs and escape poverty. Many of them don't know how to sufficiently read and write and do simple math. We want to create a mobile children's library to bring down fun books and do a story time and lend books to instill joy in reading and promote literacy. We will also help the youth in need of tutoring so they continue their education with confidence. We want to champion them and encourage them that there is a brighter future and hope with good education and spiritual guidance.
Community Care Ministry
(Future Plan)
Many YWAM and local volunteers have done small projects around the town for impoverished residents in need and for the community. We'll connect with the locals to find needed community work we can help with to create a better and safer community for youth and the residents. We can also help with already established food distribution programs to reach more residents in this vast area.
